Heidi L. Toboni has spent fourteen years in development and marketing within the publishing industry, beginning with her first freelance job at Ave Maria Press while still an undergraduate at the University of Notre Dame.
There, she became the youngest candidate ever to gain acceptance to the prestigious Denver Publishing Institute. She also interned in the University of Notre Dame's Office of Public Relations and studied abroad in the London Program.
She spent thirteen years at a leading religious trade publisher, Loyola Press, serving as Director of Trade Marketing, Director of Business Development, and Senior New Product Developer. She was co-marketer for the New York Times bestseller, The Gift of Peace by Joseph Cardinal Bernardin; created award-winning Web sites; and performed developmental writing and editing on numerous books, including the 2008 Eric Hoffer Award winner, How Big Is Your God?.
She also managed the company's strategic branding campaign and was a key leader in facilitating company-wide organizational change.
From making personal sales calls to national chain buyers; to crafting customer research and national marketing campaigns; to managing publicity and buyer relations; to product brainstorming, positioning, and developmental editing; she has honed her skills to work for you. In January 2008 she launched HeLT Consulting & Services, Inc.
Heidi is also an avid student of Tai Chi and Taoist meditation, a proponent and sponsor of Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) and enjoys adventure traveling, gardening, foreign cinema, and reading.
